"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. " -Anthony J. D'Angelo

Last weekend was very eventful as my mom came out for a visit! We had a wonderful time going up to the mountains, out to eat and spending time together with family. Kyle and I were so happy that they were able to make it out to Denver before the move back. We also found out some wonderful news....My brother and sister-in-law are preggo again:-) This makes our 19th niece or nephew for Kyle and I! We could not be more excited. Also during the trip out, we celebrated my mom and Randy's 16th wedding anniversary! We all went out to a really nice dinner and then hit downtown Denver for awhile to celebrate:-)

We also had a great time celebrating Easter. Kyle and my Mom even put together a little Easter basket for me that they hid that morning (thanks, Mom and Kyle). My mom especially enjoyed seeing Austyn on Easter! He was so excited looking for all the eggs and his Easter basket. We had a delicious dinner together and some yummy dessert. I indulged in some sprite and chocolate (since I gave it up for lent) and it tasted so good:-).  Easter was great and it was so nice to spend it with family!

Where there is love there is life. -Mahatma Ghandi

Kyle and I kicked off our weekend with my Dad arriving in Denver on Friday. We picked him up from the airport and then went straight to the Cubs game (thanks to our good friends/neighbors The Laubers). Unfortunately, the Cubs didn't put up a good game, but at least we were all surrounded by good company.

On Saturday, we went to Colorado Springs. We visited the Air Force Academy, Garden of The Gods and the local Best Buy to get a new camera...a sweet Nikon :-) We really enjoyed Garden of The Gods! The formations were beautiful.

On Sunday, we headed out to Boulder, CO. This is one of my dad's favorite cities, so it was a must on the list. We hiked around the mountains for a bit and then headed to downtown Boulder for some shopping and appetizers.

It was a great weekend. We are so thankful to have family come and visit us. Next weekend my mom will be heading out for Easter Weekend. We are really excited as this is her first visit out her since we've moved. Speaking of moving...Kyle and I are getting ready for yet another. We are trying to wrap our heads around all that needs to be done in the very short 5 (yes, 5) weeks we have left!

LAUGH as much as you breathe & LOVE as long as you live...♥

Kyle and I have been having some very relaxing weekends lately..and we love it. Last weekend it was  beautiful out, so we went for a little hike. The weather was perfect and the skies were so clear-which made for some great mountain views.  We found this awesome location on one of the mountains  that's a complete flat rock surrounded by jaw dropping views. It would be perfect for lunch, lounging and some relaxation. I can't believe we never saw it before!  Needless to say, the next time it's 80 degrees out here...that's where we will be.

After our hike, we met up with our neighbors- The Lauber's and went out for dinner. Their good friends, Brandon and Lauren were in town, so we showed them some great downtown Denver spots.  It was so fun to meet them and we hope to hang out with them! Also in town for the weekend was our good friend Adam. We always enjoying seeing him and we are excited for his move back to Denver in May!

As the month of April rolled in we realized that this was a big birthday month for our nieces and nephews! Three of our nieces and one nephew were born in April (ages ranging from 3 to 16), so Kyle and I finished up all the birthday shopping this weekend.  We celebrated our nephew Austyn's birthday last weekend. His party was held at Chuckie Cheese. I'm not sure who had more fun...Austyn or Kyle and my brother Brandon:-)  But everyone had a blast and I have to say I was a bit sore the next day from playing all the games!  As you can tell from the last picture...Austyn was extremely tired from his fun day!

This weekend we celebrated our Niece Phoebe's 7th Birthday! We all went to Matt and Julies for a big birthday bash that included pizza, brownie sundays and lots of presents. Phoebe's big present this year was some roller skates that she absolutely loves! She has barely taken the skates off since she opened them and is currently working on stopping and turning!  Uncle Kyle and I got her a purse, some jewelry, headbands, and sunglasses. As you can tell from the pictures, she is a very stylin' girl:-)

The next couple weekends are going to be very eventful in the Davis household! My mom and dad are both coming out here during the next two weeks. Kyle and I are so excited and just love having family & friends visit.

♥ Have a great week!
