"You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love you...and you're beautiful."

Well, summer has certainly been flying by! Every weekend has been jam packed with weddings, wedding events, baby showers, and other family events.  We've loved every minute of it and have enjoyed spending so much time with our close friends and family! Here are some pictures from some of the events:
We first kicked things off with my sister's bachelorette party! We had a fun beach day, followed by dinner, then a good night out with the girls!

I also had my sister's bridal shower! An array of food, fun games, and a candy buffet we're the perfect touches to her shower. Her colors were bright orange and bright pink....so the decorating was super fun and it was the perfect way to start summer.

Kyle and I had a blast hanging out with our cousins and good friends Kara and George. They are actually engaged to get married next summer! We can't wait:-)

Kyle and I have really enjoyed spending some time with our nieces and nephews! We've hung out at the lake, by the pool, had family dinners, The Magee 3 Tri, birthday parties, and just everyday get togethers. These kids make our day!

I had some help celebrating my 25th birthday! 24 was a great year...I am so excited to see what 25 brings.

Our family had more then fun at my sister's rehearsal dinner. Her and Matt picked Buffalo Wild Wings, and I must admit...it was perfect and delicious!

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Matt Boone! I am so happy for my sister and excited to have a new brother. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and I now know that my sister is the queen of DIY.  It was perfect!

We also threw a baby shower for our good friends, Keegan and Elizabeth! They are expecting a baby girl (Porter) any day now! To celebrate her (soon to be) arrival, we threw a Cubs baby shower, complete with cubs themed decorations and gifts. It was such a fun party and we can't wait to meet Baby Porter!

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster! It was a beautiful wedding and everything was perfect (esp. the food)! We are so excited as this new husband and wife will be living in Plymouth with us! We can't wait to hang out with them:-)

We are jam packed with more events and still have to blog on some events that we recently had, such as the Magee 3! Kyle is also going to be creating a post soon about his trip to China. We are having an awesome summer and love being surrounded by our friends and family. We are so happy to be home again!

“The waves of the sea help me get back to me."

Hi everyone! We are finally back in the midwest settling in again. I just thought I would write a short blog to update everyone on what's been happening! We are currently in the process of house hunting and hoping to have a place to call home very soon. For now, we are enjoying our summer on the lake! We are so thankful for our family, friends and all the help we have received  as we have transitioned back to Indiana. As for jobs, Kyle's company transferred him from Colorado and I just received a job offer from Triton Jr/ Sr High. Kyle will be setting up trips for students to study abroad (and also taking trips himself) and I will be teaching 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, along with some coaching. We feel so blessed as everything has worked out so well for us. We know this is right where we are supposed to be and could not be happier to be back. The other day, Kyle told me that he could tell a difference in me just since moving back.  I must admit that I feel like me again. Not that I wasn't "me" in Colorado, but it just didn't feel like home to me.  I've been spending most of my time by water and I can't even begin to express the amount of relaxation, comfort and peace that I have received since moving home. Kyle is happier as well. He has stated multiple times "This is why I moved home". Whether it be spending time with our family, friends, or time on the lake there is a certain comfort that has been bestowed upon us and we are so thankful for where we are.

This week, Kyle is in China on a tour with his work. How lucky is he to travel the world for "work"?! Because he sets up trips for students to travel and study abroad, he needs to be able to tell schools what they will experience on these trips. Therefore, he gets to take all the trips as well . I've received several emails from him and he is having an absolute blast! I can't wait to see all the pictures he brings back. While he is gone I am spending time house hunting, preparing for weddings and a baby shower! June is a very busy social month for us.

We do miss our family and friends in Colorado! We enjoy keeping in contact and can't wait to see them in the Fall! We are also hoping that some of them can make a visit to good 'ole Indiana at the end of this summer.

I have so many pictures to post from our move home so far, but unfortunately, Kyle has the camera in China so I can't upload the pictures quite yet! When he gets home we will have a blog full of updates and a ton of fun pictures.  Until then, I am enjoying every moment with friends and family and anticipating all the celebrations ahead of us this summer. Please keep Kyle in your prayers as he continues his adventure in China.  I can't wait to hear his stories and I will make sure he writes a blog about his travels.

If the days won't allow us to see each other, memories will, and if my eyes can't see you, my heart will never forget you.

Our final weekend in Colorado has been bittersweet. We had an amazing time with friends and family as we celebrated Kyle's brother, Matt's 40th birthday! Family from Indiana flew in just to surprise him (little did he know there were more surprises- a party later that night! The night was filled with amazing food, company and some great Karaoke! Matt was so surprised and everyone had such a good time.  It was the perfect party!

I also had a wonderful girls night out with some of my girls from work:-) Seafood and the movie "Bridesmaids" makes for the perfect night!

We went out to eat with my brother and Sister-in-law, Allysia this week. Yet again, Seafood was on the menu and it was amazing!

We also went to the Rockies game with our best friend, Maritza and her son Israel. It was Israel's first game, so he was super excited and quite funny throughout the game!

As we prepare to move, Kyle and I can't help but think of our friends and family in Colorado. They are so important to us and we feel extremely blessed to have been able to share this past year with them all. I can't  begin to tell you how much their friendship and love means to us. They were our Colorado Angels this year. We can't wait to come back in the fall to spend time with everyone. We are incredibly sad, yet know the relationships we have formed with the people here are strong and the communication will be exchanged with ease. We are looking forward to the memories ahead of us and cherishing those that we've made. To all our Colorado Friends and family- We love you all so much and thank you for all your love, support, and good times. We can't wait to see you again. Here are just a few pictures of some great memories:-)
