"You're nothing short of my everything." -Ralph Block

This weekend was fabulous! Kyle and I were supposed to meet our good friends The Crawford's for a weekend of camping, unfortunately, their daughter was sick, so we had to change the plans. Thankfully, Lyla is okay and getting better:-) They were all missed!

Kyle and I decided to take some time and camp by ourselves. It was pretty nice because this is the first time we've done anything alone since we've moved to Denver. It was just what we needed!  So we went to Colorado Springs. When we arrived at the campground it was already dark, and the first thing we were talked to about was Bears. I have to admit, I started to get a bit scared. They said they usually see them in the campground every night, but not lately. At this point, the ranger realized I was a bit freaked out, so he talked to me about what do, and reassured me he did not think we would have a problem that night. Thank Goodness!!

After a good nights of rest, and no bears:-), Kyle cooked a fantastic breakfast of eggs, pancakes and of course Potatoes! It was delicious. We then set out to do some exploring. We first visited Cave of the Winds! What a fabulous place! It was extremely interesting. Kyle and I absolutely loved the tour. The cave was just beautiful.

After visiting Cave of the Winds, we went to the Cliff Dwellings. These were where (Anasazi's) Indians had lived. It was fascinating to see the architecture.

Once we finished there, we went to Garden of the Gods. How beautiful is this place? We could not believe the structures and forms. The sights were absolutely breath taking:-)

After Garden of the Gods, Kyle and I went to the store to pick up some things and then headed home. One of our purchases at the store was the game Scrabble! So, we spent our evening eating portabellas, potatoes, zucchini and squash and playing scrabble by the fire.

On Sunday, Kyle and I woke up and packed up camp. We headed out to explore some more places. We first went to Seven Falls. The waterfalls here were absolutely gorgeous! The only kicker- we had to climb close to 500 stairs. I know it may not seem like much- but my legs sure got a workout:-)

After Seven Falls, Kyle and I stopped at the U.S Air Force Academy. This place was so cool. We really enjoyed learning about all the Air Force goes through in their training and schooling. We toured the campus a bit. Our hats really go off to these men and women.

So, overall our weekend was jam packed with activities and sight seeing. But it was great to spend some quality time together. We hope you all had a great weekend! To see more of our pictures from this weekend visit kyleandsarrahdavis.shutterfly.com.

"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. " ~Emily Brontë

This weekend was pretty busy for Kyle and I.... On Friday, I started my graduate classes. I don't really like to think about going to school...again, however, I know that in the long run it will be great to have my masters and be done with it! I am doing a weekend format class this semester. I will go to class for three weekends- Friday and Saturday only- and then I will be done! I just love the fact that I am 1/3 of the way done already;-) So on Friday night, I spent most of my night in class, but after it was over, Kyle took me out to dinner. Then on Saturday during the day, I went back to class and Kyle surprised me by cleaning the apartment. How lucky am I?!  On Saturday night,  Kyle spent some time over at Matt's house, while I went out for my good friend Lindsey's bachelorette party. We had such a great time! We met over at her sisters house for some fun games, great food and tasty wine. Then we hit the town! The night was eventful and full of laughs. I am sure that we will be talking about this night for a long time:-) We are all so excited for Lindsey as her wedding approaches. She is going to be such a beautiful bride! Kyle was a sweetheart and picked us all up at the end of the night:-)

On Sunday, Kyle and I wanted to spend some time together doing something, since most of our weekend was spent apart. We thought about going hiking but then decided that it wasn't the best idea because it was supposed to be 98 degrees:-). So instead we went to Golden and visited the Buffalo Bill museum and grave. We also drove up in the mountains and admired the awesome views. It was a fabulous, relaxing, and fun Sunday.  Afterwords, we went over to visit Matt, Julie and the girls. We had to end our weekend with a yummy cookout!

We hope you all had a great weekend:-) Love and Miss you-
