Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. - Lao-Tzu

This week/end was very busy! To start off, Kyle left for the week to head to Vegas. He had some great meetings that went extremely well:-) While he was gone,  I was busy planning a bar crawl with my girl Lindsey for Kara! Kara's dad passed away this past spring, and his birthday was on Tuesday. So to honor him and help Kara celebrate, we put together a bar crawl with a great group of people. To kick it off, Kara wanted to get a tattoo of  "Hugs and Love" on her wrist. This is something that her dad always wrote her. We were able to actually take a letter and have his actual handwriting tattooed to her wrist. It's so beautiful!  It was a fabulous time and most importantly, Kara had a great time!

On Wednesday at work, we celebrated our Co-worker, Liz's birthday! She is the occupational therapist on my team. She does a wonderful job and we were so excited to surprise her! One of the nurses made her a mountain cake that had a princess hiking up it:-)

On Saturday,we did some major wedding planning! We picked out our invitations and we also started working on the designs of our wedding bands. Later, the girls came over for a bit and hung out with us. We played some games, and even played "Let's attack Uncle Kyle!"

On Sunday, we went and cheered the Bears on! We then hung out at the pool with our good friends Lindsey, Kevin and Neil. It was in the 90's, so we were very thankful to be able to cool off a bit! After wards, Kyle cooked up a great meal of vegetarian sloppy joes and potato soup! Adam joined us for some Sunday night football!

"Love is the life of the soul. It is the harmony of the universe."- William Ellery Channing

First of all, I have to apologize because I missed last weekends blog. Kyle and I have been incredibly busy lately. I had my second weekend of grad school (one more week to go...yay) and Kyle's been super busy with work. On top of that we have been trying to do as much we can:-) We are under a 100 days. Kyle and I were just talking about how fast time seems to be going. It feels like yesterday we just got engaged! We sure are looking forward to our big day though!

So over the past two weeks we've been up to alot! We picked up Phoebe and Sylvie and had a fun night out with them. We got some pizza, ice cream and played at the park. Uncle Kyle and I had so much fun. We can't wait to do it again!

We also were able to see the Crawford's! We can't wait to see them again in just a couple weeks:-)

On Sunday, we celebrated Julie's birthday! We had a delicious cookout, as usual, and some very tasty chocolate cake! Julie recieved some great presents and the girls were more then happy to help her unwrap them! We love Julie so much and are so thankful for her. Kyle and I are glad she had a great day!

We hope you all had a fabulous weekend! For more pictures visit kyleandsarrahdavis.shutterfly.com
