"The heart is the happiest when it beats for others."

I'm doing a horrible job of keeping the blog updated lately, however we just have so much going on since the wedding is only two weeks away! Here are a few updates/ pictures for you all. This past weekend, Kyle and I flew home to Indiana to celebrate Thanksgiving, and also to have our bachelor/bachelorette parties and also our final bridal shower! It was a jam packed weekend, but our time spent with family was perfect.  Here are just a couple of pictures from the festivities! I went to Chicago with the girls for my bachelorette party and Kyle went to West Lafayette for his bachelor party.

Here are some of our pictures from Thanksgiving. We ended up having 3 Thanksgivings that day and all were wonderful!

Here are just a few from my bachelorette party:-)

And then here are some from our bridal shower! It was a blast:-)

We hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their holiday season and we can not wait to share all our festivities with you very soon!

Love,

To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides. ~ David Viscott

So, a week late, but the blog and pictures are up! Kyle and I have just been so busy lately, and when we do have some free time, it never occurs to us to use that time to work on the blog:-). Anyways, we had some visitors again! My Dad and Danielle came out to visit us last weekend. I absolutely love having familiar faces visiting us. It helps pass the time until our next visit home. We had so much fun. We went to Golden Colorado on Thursday and visited the Buffalo Bill Museum along with Lookout Mountain.

Then on Friday, we headed out to Estes Park. This is probably one of my favorite places to visit out in Colorado. We had fabulous weather for November, in the high 70's. We saw some elk, deer, and other wildlife. We climbed some rocks, did some hiking and explored the cute little town.

On Saturday we went to Boulder, Co. We did quite a bit of hiking and enjoyed the outdoors. It was almost a record high for weather that weekend! We really lucked out:-)

We had such a good time with them and enjoyed every minute of their stay! On Sunday, it was Sylvie's 3rd birthday. Uncle Kyle and I spoiled her with some presents and spent the evening with her. Happy 3rd Birthday Sylvie!

This weekend, Kyle and I had a great friday night evening. We relaxed, rented some movies and made a great dinner with our good friend Kara.  On Saturday, We spent the day doing a bit of wedding business and then went to my brothers for dinner and to spend some time with our nephew Austyn. Sunday, Kyle went to the Denver Bronco's game and I spent some time with my girlfriends doing a bit of baking and relaxation. Overall, it was a very relaxed weekend and Kyle and I needed that more then ever. The wedding is 5 weeks away! Time is flying by and we are constantly finding ourselves super busy. We absolutely love planning our wedding though and we are looking so forward to our Big Day! We hope you all have had a wonderful past weeks, and hopefully net weekend we will be on time with out blog:-) If you would like to see more pictures of my Dad's visit to Colorado then go to www.kyleandsarrahdavis.shutterfly.com .

Love you all!

"I found the one my heart loves." ~ Song of Solomon 3:4

We had an absolutely fabulous weekend! Michaela and Jack came to visit us:-) We had a blast! They arrived on Thursday and we met them for pizza with Matt, Julie and the girls!

On Friday morning we went to Snooze for breakfast:-) It was absolutely delicious. It was also my first time there and I could not have asked for a better breakfast!

After breakfast we were stuffed! So we decided to go in the mountains to work a bit of it off! Our first stop was Red Rocks Amphitheater. It's probably one of the coolest venues I've ever been to.

After Red Rocks, we went into the mountains to hike around for a bit. It was sooooo cold out:-) Luckily, we weren't out too long, but just long enough to have some fun. After that, we headed into downtown Boulder for some shopping on Pearl Street!

Later that evening, we went for Sushi:-) Followed, by a night at home watching movies and eating some good snacks!

Saturday morning, Michaela and I went to get pedicures followed by some shopping at the new Forever 21 downtown. We also went to a pumpkin patch later that day. It was super windy, but a lot of fun. We finished the night with guac, tacos, and salsa:-) It was fabulous! Later that night, Michaela and Kyle went to a haunted house. Jack and I stayed in the car. It was hilarious- I think we were more scored in the car, then everyone else who went into the haunted house!

Michaela and Jack left on Sunday, and then Kyle and did some wedding planning. We've finally picked out all our songs, readings, etc!  We also finally saw the design for my wedding band, and have Kyle's all set up to be designed now too:-) Our invitations came in this week...so this next coming week is going to be pretty busy trying to prepare to send them out!  The rest of the afternoon we spent at Matt and Julies for a cookout.

There are a TON of pictures that have been uploaded to our shutterfly account from this weekend!  http://kyleandsarrahdavis.shutterfly.com/

We hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Love and miss you all:-)
